RSVP Talent is a talent agency and entertainment booking agency located in Ames, Iowa. Whether you are an actor looking for work, a Hollywood production looking for actors, or a corporation looking for entertainment for your next event, RSVP Talent can help you succeed.
We are a non-exclusive agency, which means you are free to sign with any other agencies in the area. Our goal is to helop you secure work, so if another agency can also help you - great! We only get paid when we get you the job. There are no up-front fees, imaging fees, or other costs involved with signing with our agency.
RSVP Talent was formed as a result of seeing a need for a talent agency in Iowa that could support non-union and union talent, as well as the need for variety acts for corporate events. Iowa's film making community is exploding, with a need for talent for indepedent and low-budget features, commercials, voiceovers, as well as big-budget Hollywood movies.
After living and working in Los Angeles for several years, we decided to bring our expertise back to Iowa and form this new talent and booking agency. With our real world experience and Iowa work ethic, we hope RSVP Talent will grow to become a prominent fixture in the the entertainment industry for the state of Iowa.
We Know Our Stuff
Following his time in Los Angeles, Troy Rutter wrote a book entitled "Kids in the Biz" detailing step-by-step how to get started locally (even referencing Des Moines) and paving the way to Hollywood.
The book has sold over 2,500 copies and is recommended by parents, agents, talent managers and industry experts across the country.
In addition, Troy has been the voice-over talent for many Iowa region commercials, and has appeared in independent films produced right here in the state.
